The National Online Music Alliance would like to welcome the following
artists who are new to our roster:

DAN GEDIMAN
A 1998 Kerrville New Folk finalist, Dan Gediman is a relative newcomer to
the national music scene. But Dan's name is known as a radio reporter and
producer to millions of public radio listeners as his work appears on many
popular NPR news and feature programs. Musically, Dan is a
singer-songwriter and band leader. His current band, DAN GEDIMAN & THE MIND
REELS, released its first CD, "I'm Trying," in late 1997. While Dan's music
often is lumped into the Americana genre by critics, one writer called it
"bluegrass-flavored chamber rock," which is closer to the mark.

FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, get Dan's EP, "I Begin To Fall," and Dan Gediman &
the Mind Reels' CD, "I'm Trying," for just $19.95!

ERIN BURKETT
Pittsburgh's Erin Burkett performs music that is heavily influenced by
blues, gospel, R&B and jazz. Erin was mentored by blues guitarist Larry
Belli and says, "Blues are natural to me, I've lived them." Her Catfish
Mary Blues Band debuted in 1995, and in just two years, Erin and the band
were opening for such artists as John Mayall and Savoy Brown, and
performing at the Pittsburgh Blues Festival and the Latrobe Blues Festival.
Erin's first CD, "Erin Burkett," was released in November 1997. Comprised
of nine original works, the CD includes 14 different players including
blues guitarist Barry Levinson and King Snake recording artist Ron "Byrd"
Foster.

SANDY KNOX
At 24, Sandy Knox moved to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career. Three
years later, she had her first cut, and she was on her way to pure
songwriting success. Sandy's songs have been recorded by Reba McEntire,
Neil Diamond, Patti Labelle, Liza Minelli, Donna Summers and numerous
others. Her accomplishments have earned her a spot in the list of "1000
Women We Admire" in Mirabella, a national women's magazine, in 1994. Sandy
just released her first album, "Pushing 40, Never Married, No Kids," on her
own Wrinkled Records label. In an industry that often celebrates youth and
superficiality, Sandy tells the story of women who have truly lived with
poignant messages delivered in her own deep, sultry and knowing voice.

BILL PARSONS
According to the New York Times, Bill Parsons is an "emerging voice on the
east coast folk music circuit." Since 1993 Bill has been delighting
audiences with his signature performance style, described as folk music for
a post-politically correct world. His goal, he said, is to be "hopeful
without being trite or naive." Bill has artist endorsement deals from
Taylor Guitars and D'Addario Strings. For his album, "Unskilled Labor,"
Bill has been described as having a "gift for conversational directness in
lyrics with versatile guitar and an engaging worthy, well-produced
introduction to a promising talent." (Dave Johnson, New England Folk Almanac)

UNCLE ART
Uncle Art is a studio project initiated by David Arthur Seyboldt. The first
Uncle Art CD, "Transmogrified," was released in October 1997. The album is
a collection of "vampish, instrumental technojazz." Liquid Magazine
describes the CD as "Superb production infused with laid back, smooth,
jazzy song structures, strikes comparisons to. . . Spyro Gyra and Eric
Marienthal." David plays keyboards and percussion for Uncle Art, and these
Chicago artists were called in to enhance the Uncle Art project: Bill
Boris (guitars), Peter Ballin (woodwinds), and Rafe Bradford (basses, album
producer). Listen to clips at:

which has impeccable taste in music: folk singer E.J. BUCHER and the jazz
