Acclaimed singer/songwriter Carrie Newcomer is conducting a chat session
this Monday, May 18 on the New York Times section of AOL. She will field
questions about her new Rounder/Philo recording, My True Name, as well as
discuss her work & life in music.

The easiest way to access the chat session is to go to keyword "NYTChat"
on AOL, then follow the directions to the Monday Night Music Chat. The
session starts at 10pm EST and runs till 11:30pm.

Carrie's new album, released earlier this spring, has garnered rave
reviews including this one from Stereo Review:

[4 stars out of 5] "Neo-folkie Carrie Newcomer may have played a lot of
bars and bowling alleys in her time, but My True Name shows she's ready
for the bigger venues . . . the stories . . . will do more than bear
repeated listenings: they'll carve their names on your heart." --Alanna
Nash, Stereo Review
