The blues oriented showcases and music program were impressive. I
particularly enjoyed Andy Kimbel, a very talented blues picker songwriter from
Philadelphia, and the Alligator Zydeco Band and their amazing 11 year old
washboard / Triangle player.
For those festival and events promoters not invloved with MaFEA, definitely
consider it. The national meetings take place in Denver this fall. Hope to
see you at the regional meetings in Pittsbugh next year!!!
