Greetings!

Jim Post is/was one of the most dynamic performers I know. I spent many
nights in the '70s at The Amazingrace in Evanston listening to Jim. "Ship
Shape" is one of the few recordings that I think captured a real slice of
him. Anyting life by him is great!!

For the past four or so years, he has been performing (among other things)
a one man show about Mark Twain with original songs. It is marvelous. I
last saw him perform "folk" stuff at a festival in Rockford, Illinois 4 or
5 years ago and begged him (like I begged Bob Gibson at the same
festival-different year) to release some of his recordings on cd. To date,
only Jim Post and Friends is available that I can find.

Glad to find others interested in him as well.

Acoustically,

Steve
