Actually there are four Waterbug samplers: the original yellow one,
the blue one (volume 2), Bug Soup (sent to Dirty Linen subscribers),
and On The Roam (given to Memphis Folk Alliance participants). There
are also two samplers that focus on a style of songwriting: American
Impressionist Songwriters, Volumes I and II. All are superb. The
first four are a great bargain at $5 each (or one free with a purchase
of a full-price disk from Waterbug <http://www.waterbug.com>). The
Impressionist disks are full price. Each has about 20 songs and runs
about 70 minutes. Not a single weak song on any of the six, though
not all will be to everybody's taste. They are also very well sequenced
and make good listening as albums. Most of the artists represented
are present, past or future Waterbuggers, but a handful are just friends.
