Well, there's lots of great samplers out there. Personally, I
reccomend the following:

This is Boston Not Austin volumes 1 and 2: EXCELLENT cd's
representing some of the finest musicians in Boston.

Red House Records Urban Folk Collection: Great collection of some of
the most popular names in the folk world. Greg Brown, Bill Staines,
The New Dylans.

Christine Lavin's Follow that Road and Big TImes in a Small Town: TWo
excellent discs collecting live performances of some great musicians.

I think the best way to find a sampler is to go to the folk section
of your record store and look under the various artist or folk
collections part of the section. Chances are you won't be
dissapointed in any of your choices. Happy Hunting!
