2. General workshop information, including directions
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Workshops in this series are held the fourth Thursday of each
month (except during November and December, when they are on the
third Thursday), from 7-10 pm at the Peace Center, 8124 W. 3rd St.,
Los Angeles, CA. For a map showing how to get to the Peace Center,
point your browser to:

Enter from alley just South of 3rd off Crescent Heights and park in
lot tucked under rear of building, ignoring "reserved" signs. Double
parking OK.

If you bring a song (and we hope that you will), please also bring 15
copies of your lyric sheet. Of course, you're welcome to come and
listen, even if you're not a songwriter or don't have a song. Feedback
from non-songwriters is very valuable! Workshops feature a
round-robin presentation of songs, which may be either on cassette (we
have a player) or performed live (a keyboard is provided, or bring
your own guitar or other instrument). Songs should deal with social
issues (broadly defined). A donation of up to $4 is requested to
cover expenses of the event and the room, but no one will be turned
away for lack of funds.
