On Saturday, July 11th, from 8-9 PM EDT on WQXR (96.3 FM) in New York City,
Christine Lavin will be Bob Sherman's sole guest on his long-running (29
years) popular radio program called "Woody's Children." Christine will
perform live -- some brand new songs, "Single Voice," "Piranaha Women Of The
Avocado Jungle Of Death," an old favorite, "Good Thing He Can't Read My Mind,"
and a song from her new live album (One Wild Night In Concert) entitled "The
Wild Blue," the story of kamikaze pilots in World War II. Although Bob
Sherman has a standing rule never to play songs on his show that are over 7
minutes long, he specifically asked for "The Wild Blue" and during the
interview asks Christine many questions about the writing of it.

Also as part of the interview two cuts from the 1800PRIMECD double album "Big
League Babe" tribute will be played -- "Replaced" as performed by Susan
Werner, and "Compass" as performed by Dee Carstensen.

The whole hour spans Christine's wide variety of musical styles, from the
silly to the serious. Although Bob Sherman has been playing her music since
the mid-80s, this is the first time she is his guest in the studio. If you're
in the listening area, we hope you'll be able to catch the show. If you're
not in the listening area, you can catch up on Christine at her website - now
with video and audio! - at www.christinelavin.com.
