Greetings Folksters of the net,

San Francisco-based band The Westerleys have just released their fourth album.
The CD, entitled, "A Blessing and a Curse", was produced at Prairie Sun
Studios, sometime home of Tom Waits. It includes 10 original songs by the lead
singing/songwriting duo of Doug Blumer and Nancy Terzian, and a cover of the
Gillian Welch song, "Tear My Stillhouse Down."

The band describes their music as "alt. country," a tasty mixture featuring
equal parts acoustic, bluegrass, folk, rock and pop.

The Westerleys have just returned from their 12-shows-in-14 days "Mason-Dixon
Line" tour or Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock and southern Illinois. On May 27
they play at the Threadgill Theatre at the Kerrville Folk Festival.

If you are interested in a copy of "A Blessing and A Curse," please e-mail me
privately at Turnerzian@aol.com for information.

Thanks for your support.
