I mentioned in a recent post that I had purchased the Lynn Miles album
"Slightly Haunted" over the weekend, based on the strength of several
comments from this list. I got private e-mail from a friend who assured
me that I would enjoy it, and I am glad to report that he (and those
of you who discussed this disc before) were quite right!

It is an excellent album! Many thanks to the people who recommended it.
It was interesting that I did a search of my database and found that I
had two songs by her:

1 - Various|Fast Folk - Lost Works (disc 2)|1993|Fast Folk|FFCD610
November||Miles, Lynn
2 - Various|Women of Kerrville, The|1996|Silverwolf|SWKCD 1004
I Always Told You the Truth|3:29|Miles, Lynn

When I did my search, "I Always Told You the Truth" was playing from
"Slightly Haunted" :^)

I didn't remember either song from the other albums. This makes a good
case for compilation albums, and why we should go back and listen to
them several times for those other gems we haven't found yet. :^)

Come to think of it, I found out about Cheryl Wheeler from a compilation
album. 'nuff said. :^)
