this friday, may 1, there is a benefit concert featuring
kerri powers, mindy jostyn, peter kalo, richard shindell, and
patty larkin at the somerville theatre in davis square. the
benefitting organization is WSHE: Women's Supported Housing
and Empowerment Inc. they build permanent affordable housing
for women who have survived abuse.
the show is general admission, beginning at 7:30, and cost
is $16.50. tickets are available through ticketmaster and
the somerville theater box office. there is also a
limited number of tickets available for $100 each (reserved
seating) which includes a reception with the musicians after
the show. those tickets are available only directly through
WSHE at 617-623-5456.
advanced sales have apparently been slow, so i thought maybe
a post could help a bit.
