The National Online Music Alliance has added several new artists to the
roster in the past month. Here are excerpts from recent newsletters:

California-based singer-songwriter and pianist LISA CANNON's debut CD,
"More Than 12 Stories Under the Sun," is an acoustic folk-rooted album with
an eclectic mix of Celtic and swing, reggae and blues influences. "Imagine
Tori Amos, Lisa Loeb and Bonnie Raitt sitting in a studio making music
together. . . " (The Stanford Daily)

BILL WARD "shows he can do everything from rootsy rock to straight folk to
crooning-style country music. . . He does pull off a hodgepodge of styles
impressively, and his lyrics often surprise." (Houston Press) Listen to
clips from his latest CD, "Bill Ward."

The music of ORPHAN MOON has been described asalternative art-pop and
orchestral root-rock, but it is always modern American romantic, according
to lead vocalist Diane Boothby. The songs are "slightly dark short stories
with evocative imagery," Diane said. Orphan Moon currently has two CDs on
NOMA, a self-titled CD and "Have a Little Faith."

People know Bronx native Joe Giacoio for his "two-handed" guitar style and
instrumental pieces as well as for his quirky and classic songwriting.
